Well darling wife, newsreaders are obviously supposed to be easy on the eye are they not? ( Not like football managers,hence they always end up in the dugout !! )

But the magic of makeup really works on Kate Silverton.....when she's pictured without it she looks oh so plain yet in front of the camera all made up and with those specs..Mama Mia

Most TV folk look pretty plain without makeup etc. I met a few of them at the STV studios a while back and they're all very pretty but no more so than a lot of the gorgeous ladies on here!
