Probably The Duke Spirit at King Tut’s in 2004. It’s always a great venue (at least it was - I’ve not been in a very long time so can’t speak to it now), and they were amazing. KT Tunstall there a month or so later was also fantastic.

Saw The Proclainers at the Hydro last year, massively disappointing, wrong venue for their music.

I'd imagine in s smaller venue though they would be amazing.

Black sabbath the end tour was amazing.

But for a punter it has to be U2 Slane Castle Joshua Tree tour. As well as the zoo TV tour at celtic Park

An runrig at Balloch

Nah, wasn't the venue. Proclaimers were in Melrose last year and friends of mine went. They apparently were lacking atmosphere, just powering through the songs without really connecting to their audience x

That makes sense...they did Sunshine on Lieth half way through the set...surely that's the big grand Fanale

I do gig photography (mostly Rock stuff) so have seen loads of bands/artists live but for me the top three would be Dan Reed, Pat McManus and the Glasgow band King King (who I'm going to see again in Glasgow in April.. Yay!).

Given how common it is to go along to these, some folks still find it surprising that I've never been along to a concert or any type, or gigs, etc...

Fleetwood Mac, seen them live 14 times

I consider them better live than even the great Roger Waters,

or the great John Fogerty singing creedence

have seen many amazing bands but Fleetwood mac rock.

Of all the great bands I’ve seen live these guys were one I never actually did see

Have seen Stevie and Lyndsay both on solo tours but never did quite see the full Mac experience

Even auditioned for a Fleetwood Mac tribute band

the worst experience was probably 89 when the had Billy Burnette and Rick Vito stood in for Lindsay Buckingham, that concert was poor

in my view Lindsay Buckingham is the heart and soul of Fleetwood Mac, he is a real live wire on stage, Stevie is always amazing but with time aging

I will not be buying tickets for them this year without Lindsay.

John Martyn. Shaw Theatre, London

31.03.90 David Gilmour guested.

I was also a guest so free admission. Smoked a few. The band was cool and loose, Gilmour seemed dazed and confused, John was probably off his head but always in control. Judge for yourselves

Ithttps://youtu.be/YB9k2kIZbt8 was recorded.
