Your job?

I love my job so much. Being a massage therapist is such rewarding work. Even tho, I can be really tired at the end of the day.. I feel good. Happy clients and a chill work environment make my job a joy to go to everyday

Yes I do. I started working for charities around ten years ago, and it was the best thing I ever did. They tend to be great employers, with benefits not found in the private sector, as well as innovative working practices.

People who enjoy their job always anyways come across as calmer, happier people, it's amazing the difference it can make.

I love my job but it is both physically and emotionally exhausting. I know i will need to work until i am 67 but really can not see me being fit enough at that age to do the job i am in now.

"I know i will need to work until i am 67 but really can not see me being fit enough at that age to do the job i am in now."

That age will increase so realistically like me by the time I’ve hit 60 I’ll have contributed 50 years of earnings and see nada because I’ll be kicking up daisies.

Tory Britain will get even worse.

On the plus side you can lift your pension at 55. I have just done this recently with a smaller pension i had. Another one will be lifted in a few years and i will leave the biggest and best to last.

I, latexkink, did. But it has changes so much in recent weeks I question whether I wish to continue in the role.

I need to take control. But to do that I have to convince the manager that my plans are solid.

So in essence I am not in control even though I am the boss.

And that is fucking me up!!!!

Exit plan required....perhaps...

Snap. Im doing less work in film/design - which I used to love, great perks but highly exploitative - and now a massage therapist. It's perfect....I get to help people and work their bodies. It's dreamy really.

I'm not biased but massage therapists make for amazing lovers too, at least the ones I've had!

Yes. Seeing genuine appreciation in people's eyes makes it worthwhile.

If only some of those around me would fuck off and leave me to it, it'd be pretty much ideal.

Keep getting things dumped on me to a point were I can not do the Job I am meant to do.

Had a major stress moment Thursday. Major anger management issue.

Was basically told Friday. Your problem. Deal with it!!

So, Bull horns, I'll fucking deal with it. Writing up plans over weekend. But if it gets any feedback of, nah not happening, I am outta there!!

Job search begins and I will do the basic level until I leave. See how he can fucking cope after that...

Nope. Lol

I’m not a fan of mine, while there are good aspects of the job like basically being paid to do nothing I wish I’d more free time or more flexible hours

I am a counsellor/psychotherapist by day, however, I used to run a mindfulness meditation group and do reiki therapies. Love it

Problem with the Reiki is I often get asked about tantra which I have been trained to do however, I’ve never die it outwith training workshops I attend over in Holland

My job is the thing that gets in the way of me doing all the things i want to do, but cant because i'm working. Do I love my job? No! I am thankful for my job tho, because if it wasnt for my job. I wouldn't be able to do all the things I enjoy doing? Like living indoors and being warm and eating food. lol. And if it wasnt for my job I wouldn't have my bike. And I love my bike.

Flagpole painter sounds like a 1950s euphemism.
