Has anyone ever been bi-curious, gave it a few tries and decided it's not for them? Or is it just a midway designation while you get comfy with being bi? Do you think as soon as you decide you're bi-curious, it's only a matter of time and a question of making peace with your bisexuality?

Does it really just mean bi but jittery?

Funny we were talking about this the other day, I reckon after once or twice you're past the curious stage if you continue having it off with the same sex

Maybe I'm wrong, think it's easier for women to be bi than men

I believe there are fifty shades of sexuality (the phrase utterly outstrips the crap book if you see what I mean

). Sexuality is flexible and ok you might be straight normally but situation and mood could change that even if just for that moment. Mutual exploration, pleasure and consent are key with every word underlined

Straight Bi Gay - to some you can only be the former or the latter.

as said above females seem to be more comfortable with Bi so they can play both sides.

for a lot of guys going Bi is the same as gay as that was the way they were brought up.

At the end of the day if you are comfortable with a situation you will go with the flow of not say no

It's not always straightforward. After my first bi experience I decided it wasn't for me and I wouldn't do it again but I think that was mostly down to embarrasment and a bit of a feeling of shame. It didn't take too long for those feelings to go though.

So I’m still bi curious as yes I like lady’s and I’m still curious about guys and until I know that I really am happy swinging both ways then I’ll remain bi

Not wanting to be a stickler but you use “Bi” twice in your post by itself when I think you mean “Bi curious”.

Bi means bi-sexual. Ie you have decided and no longer “curious”.

I think the labels on this site are not the best.

I think statistically there will be some people who were curious tried it and felt it wasn't for them. Not all Bi curious people will go on to fully identify as bisexual either.

Some will end up biflexible meaning in the right circumstances they'll play with same sex. But not actively seek out same sex partners.

I do think it is easy for women to say they are bi as someone above mentioned. Straight guys stereotypically think two women together is great and in my experience they don't get the same "oh you're just not fully out yet" attitude guys receive, and that's not just from straight people.

Although if those women end up in a relationship rather than just having fun, they will often get the same treatment of "so you are gay now"

Anyway could go on about this for ages and don't want to write an essay about it, happy to chat to people about this if you want to message.

I personally use the phrase bi curious as to me; I’ll play with women (when in the right situation) but I don’t see myself having a sexual, singular, meaningful relationship to the same level that I have with Ian (or any former boyfriends) so therefore not fully bisexual.

I’m defo not a “pillow princess” and will happily give

I have been gay all of my life and only laterally I have begun to realise that I am becoming bi and increasingly interested in women!!! I have no idea wtf it has come from tbh lol. I haven't yet been with a woman but would love the experience with the right one.

I think this is where it gets muddied up.

imo it has nothing to do with relationship possibilitys and only to do with who you will have a sexual encounter with.

To many attach a stigma to theirs or others orientation which is the biggest problem.

I've had bi partners and I was fine with them fulfilling their bi side out with our relationship as that aspect holds little interest to me

I've heard being bi-curious used in a few different ways. For some they like to occasionally play with the same sex in a group setting, but wouldn't go solo or consider a relationship. I know some people who use it as they would never consider anything with the same sex under your average circumstances, but then the option of it being a one time, spur of the moment thing comes around they like it. Or the same way as my Mr! He's Bi-curious because he's not attracted to most men, but has on occasion played with men and would play around a bit in the future, but he isn't attracted to masculinity but doesn't mind penises
