I don’t do many socials but have one planned. What on earth do you wear for a social?

Wear what you feel comfortable in, the same as what I would wear if I was going on say a tinder or pof date, if you think you might go straight to the next stage wear nice underwesr if you want but I wouldn't be going OTT for a social meet

Glenrothes

It's entirely upto you.

Dress to impress kind of thought and if you are intending on getting in on some action within the social time then something very nice underneath.

Personally when we are out I go commando as 1 it excites Darren and 2 it's easier for a wee feel about. X

Glasgowish

For me it all depends on the weather, where you are going and the time of day. I once went in a pair of wellies as it had bn snowing and changed into my shoes at the station.

Surely clothing depends on where you are heading? For example we'd wear different clothes for a meet over coffee Vs drinks in a nice bar.

Ardgay

Daytime meet with no real chance of anything further that meet, smart but casual.

Evening meet, depends on where you are meeting and if you think it might progress, smart but casual with clean underwear.

Funny I thought clean underwear were kind of a given

Agree with the above really all depends on the place you are going of we had a social over some coffee would definitely be smart casual but if we go out to a nice place to eat and drink then we would most definitely dress up for the occasion

Social meet you wear what you would wear going out with a mate for a drink.

As that's potentially what you are doing.

Like the scene in Bridget Jones; so much so I call mine ‘Bridgets’ rather than ‘belly warmers’
