Last week of Jan. Seams a few touchie threads of late.

How about some thing positive

If your doing dry January you have only 6 days left. Wd to all who is doing it

I'm amazed at myself that I've done it! Was looking forward to my wine this Saturday and then Mr said why not give up ompletely if you've not really missed it.

I haven't particularly missed it the more I think about it. Though it did dawn on me that the only time I sit on my arse and actually relax is when I'm having a glass of wine.

Be surprised how easy for most folk alcohol is to give up, to take it or leave it,but what you've said is exactly how most folk are with alcohol it's seen as an essential relaxation or recreational tool, I'm happy with a full fat Irn Bru as my treat or a nice cuppa tea, but we'll done for managing thus far its amazing the amount of folk who don't manage it, it's actually quite sad tbh as a nation how much emphasis there is on alcohol being THE major social pull for people

well done for not giving up Im not a big drinker anyway but like a wee drink if socialising
