I don't agree. I think we remember what people said and did to make us feel certain ways. Or is it over time the memories of specifics fade and disappear and only the memory of the feeling remain. Was she misguided or accurate? " Accurate. So many things are misquoted, so people definitely forget words. And eye witness testimonies of events are actually quite unreliable. So our recollections of an event can also be questioned. But you can't really question or argue with someone's emotional response to an event or interaction with another person. You feel what you feel. This is so spot on too " I agree that feelings will always remain prominent, you will walk by a place that will flood you with feelings, a movie a certain food. These all trigger feelings and memories. The feelings never go away and are key the way we are. She was spot on in my opinion. | |||
