We all know them, we've all experienced it at some point.

They come in all shapes and sizes, all genders, races and ages.

Sometimes it's easy to spot them and sometimes it's not!

Sometimes they are strangers and we can't understand why or how they pick their victims and sometimes they are the people close to you, friends, family, partners all can be toxic relationships.

What's worse than a bully? In my opinion people who stand idly by and watch it happen and say nothing or worse join in with the taunting and nasty comments, yes it can be hard not to stand up from or against the crowd, but living with the consequences of saying nothing can weigh heavy on your heart.

Be the better person, be the person who s_ands up to bullies, be the person who supports the victims and gives them a voice, show your support for people who are struggling, don't kick people when they are down give out your hand and pick them up.

Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself is that someone you would like to be friends with or someone you would hold at arms length?

Youre never too old to learn or to change or try thinking about your actions, live each day being the person you would want in your corner when days are bad and lonely x

Much love and hugs to all you lovely people out there struggling and taking each day at a time because the road to happiness and fulfillment can be long hard and weary xx

In real life, I like to think I'd speak up. I have in the past.

On here? It's difficult to know the context and the full back story. So unless I feel I know someone fairly well or I feel a comment is completely unwarranted then I won't get involved.

I can't handle bullies and will never understand why they feel the need to pull others down because in my opinion it doesn't make them the bigger person or look good in any way shape or form so I will always have something to say about it. I feel bad when people jump on the bang wagon especially when they are not the type of people to do so generally but want to be excepted and liked by others so join in. Can't handle that.

I nearly got jumped by 12 teenage girls, when I was waiting on my older kids, loads of parents in car waiting and these 12 girls grabbed one girl by the hair and started laying into her, so I jumped out car and jumped in and got the lassie out and told her to run with my arms out blocking the 12 girls from chasing her.

My son came out and stopped the girls coming for me and they backed off, but all those bloody parents just watched, I'm best friends with that young girls mum now as I followed the young girl home to make sure she didn't get jumped again.

So I hate bullies. Both my sons were bullied too until they grew from wee short shits to 6ft tanks.

It's probably not relavent on here but they young kids grow up into adults.

I have noticed you do try to lighten things up with good banter that changes things around but couple comments later and someone else jumps in and gets stuck right in again lol

I think a lot of bullies think they have a strong sense of belief in their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others,but behind this mask lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

Most with try and detract attention away from themselfs by bulling others then blaming the other person for things that they themselfs are doing & not the other way about.

If I saw bulling face to face yes Id say something depending on the situation.

Id also like to think If I saw bulling say on the forums here Id also say something too

Aww bullies and bullying happen in all walks of life and fab is no different. Some of the stories I could (and I’m sure others could) tell you about some of the ppl on here and what they’ve done or said to others would make you cringe.

I steer well clear tbh. If I came face to face with them.....well that’s another story.

My temper and tongue may not be able to control itself!

I think bullying is wrong... no matter what the circumstances...

However... on here it's worse...

Because people dont want to take it further due to the risk of it being public knowledge.... or worrying about their family finding out....or worse publicised in the press

And I think that's where the bullys are getting away with it...

This is where we wish karma was. in fact the bitch she proclaims to be!!!

Bullys always justify their actions. They try drill their opinions to hanger ons , that cut about with them . The ones who cut about with them should shun them . How can you like a bully or want to be associated with them . They are the worst . Absolute cretons . Despise bully’s

We have a guy in work who is a bully.. The bosses know it and won't do anything until one of us makes an official complaint. He knows where everyone lives and threatens to send people to your door if you stand up to him.. Even when you do moan about him to the bosses he's right in your face calling you all sorts... Theres only 8 of us in the work and I haven't spoke to him for over 3 year..

All I can say about bullies in Aberdeen area...beware of the witches! I’ve had and heard of folk receiving horrible messages from them and even in person. Not good and didn’t expect to see that on here

I used to argue with the bullies/trolls/bitches (whatever you want to call them they are essentially all the same thing) but that just gives them satisfaction. Don’t give them fuel by rising to it that annoys them more.

Bullying chips away at folks confidence, makes them question your own self worth and can do irreparable mental damage, also physical bullying takes place too, quite often the bullies themselves have a fragile mental state and possibly don’t really comprehend their actions and get some justification of their actions, they get so used to getting away with it to them it becomes the norm. It’s really hard sometimes to bite your tongue and not retaliate or get caught up bully shaming when you see wrongdoings as well. And sometimes being the victims and not standing up for yourselves and not giving the bullies the reaction they want can make it go away other times however they can take it to the next level and causing damage far beyond the individual victim in their quest for satisfaction. It would be great if everyone lived in harmony minded their own business and treated everyone the way they themselves would like to be treated x

Have zero tollerance for bullies , would always defend someone from being bullied , but in this generation seems like if someone has a difference of opinion or strong willed the bullying card gets thrown about all too easy .

Exactly this, I’ve noticed if someone disagrees bam 5 mins later a group of their friends jump in with how wrong that person is to dare disagree and labelled a bully! Disagreeing and voicing an opinion is not being a bully, the word is thrown around far too easily
