I was talking with some colleagues today and one was saying he was desperate for pay day as he was going to get an escort. Apparently £300 for 2 hours.

One of the other colleagues, then said "Fuck that get a prosti. man, suck and fuck for £50"

I have never paid for either of these services.

When they asked what i do when "I want ma hole" I just said i try to meet up with sexually adventurous women.

I suppose you could argue that 300 quid for 2hrs is a good deal for the escort.

50 quid to use an orifice for half an hour ....can't think of anything less erotic.

Never used an escort or prostitute so can't answer the last question. I get turned knowing I'm turning my partner on so paying for it wouldn't work for me.

I think you need to get some new work colleagues if that's their attitude to women.

Won't comment on the escorts, but the £50 prostitute probably has no other option, so good to know her holes are the only thing of value to them.

That's not a reflection on any guys on here, just a really sad reflection of the value some people have in our society.

They're all sexworkers. Sadly the cheaper end of women will be in desperate times. I've lots of friends in the industry. They get treated much better by clients than they do by personal hookups. That says a lot frankly.

People's attitudes, generally, in all things sex related need improved. That "any hole is a goal" attitude is so prevalent here too. It's gross, you'll just dress it up in pathetic attempts at seduction and lie to women, some of whom would be better off getting therapy than seeking comfort/avoidance through casual sex.

There's all sorts of reasons. Time is one. Eh Business trip, a few hours to yourself, horny and it's the practical thing to hire someone and get what you want/need. That's my opinion.

I've a few male friends in the past paid for sex many a time, they're good looking guys and never have any problem pulling, for them it was convenience, good looking fit girls no endless chit chat or potential stalker/wants a relationship/drama. They do alot of business travel and don't have time to sit on fab in between meetings and networking so it's far easier.

It's also the whole guarantee thing, no teasing playing games, no going out for a meet and buying drinks or dinner and not getting laid at the end, no need to be at peak performance or no feeling guilty if you can't perform or aren't quite the stud in bed. Some guys are lovely guys great personalities but women don't look twice at them

Did you not feel sorry for the women though? I certainly did given their backgrounds of abuse, particularly the Mum who basically had no enjoyment from sex yet found herself selling it to look after her kids.

I take the point that he could have looked at more of a cross section of the industry though as I've listened to various podcasts etc where young, clued up women with their heads firmly screwed on are raking in money and "seem" completely unscathed by their experiences.

I think as a mother who would find herself in a situation where she may loose her house, her kids as she can't feed them and is struck with the thought of loosing everything, this is quick money, no need to wait to start a new job, wait a month in leu for money and in that time loose what she has, quick money to give her kids the life with her and house over their head. Parents would die for their kids to make them have a better life why not have sex and still be here to see them.

I hold no judgement over anyone who does escorting or prostitution if it's a choice they have made regardless of their circumstances. Some do it to pay for education, help pay debt before loosing everything, some to live a good life and some to save their families.

I have an issue if its forced upon them as in their pimped out and its not thier choice.

*somewhat disjointed train of thought as I'm excited about my research.

I'd equally feel sorry for them in hook-up land or trying to date men and heal their pasts. Sexwork can be incredibly healing and contrary to perceived opinion, you can choose your clients after much talk/seeing what they look like. Not everyone does that though. Yes it can be incredibly damaging too, and most will attempt to et out then if they cam. Nobody wants to do it forever. Its a means to an end.

I've zero time for sleazy pimp wannabes. There's a few on here....

What do you do if disability isn't enough to live on, and nobody will hire you, no family support etc? Add an attitude that makes sex 'easy', whether that be from disconnet or not. It's not a far jump from swinging really. I've had a few horrible encounters here and felt that if I'd been paid it would have at least been worth it.

When I was a pro-domme it was great. All my experiences were empowered and benefitted both ways. Healing in all sorts of ways. I never put on an act, and was my geuine self. Chose who I wanted to see. It gave me the freedom to do what I wanted, when I wanted, with nobody to answer to. I worked for myself and nobody else was involved - that also makes a difference.
