I just think there are too many fake profiles spoiling it for people. Couples and women don't seem to be as relaxed as with the old fab i remember.

Definitely not as many genuine people nowadays. Seems to be a lot more people into the social side of things now and like a meeting place to make new friends and less about the kink side. For us we have our friends then we have fab totally separate. Mite come across as rude or arrogant but we know what we want and that’s what we interested in. Definitely finding it harder to meet people who can deliver what they advertise. Had a lot more no shows and a lot more guys seem to be chatty during the day when at work then disappear at nights when away from work home to family. It’s not impossible to meet the good people but just a lot harder to find them as seem to becoming minorities

I find couples are looking for the subway Brad Pitt and won't give normal single men a second look, plus i get fed up of being approached by the couple and expected to be the one who sends the face photos first.

We certainly ain’t looking for a brad pit lookalike but we are very into the cuckold Dom stuff but it’s unreal the amount of guys who claim to be amazing and experienced at this then when it comes to it thinks a little slap on the ass and calling the wife a whore is what we are looking for. We don’t mean to be brutal but gotta be done so don’t end up wasting the limited free time we have

I don’t think fab is shit.

There is a lot of single guys on it, and young single guys not only in age but mind as well. Treating fab as a sex site... it was a swingers site, massive difference , which has been forgotten.

I very rarely meet one on one off here cos yes too many fakes profiles, so fab is more a social network for me and I do all my hunting if you like at clubs/parties.

For me that works. Much easier than going through the 100th dick pic or cum shot and I’m gonna destroy you message....

We do the socials meets and cjs as we find there's too many fakes on fab, at least that way we are seeing people face to face , chat and seeing if there's an attraction.

We have fab couples who we like chatting to so take it to chatting more private WhatsApp or kik and find out a little more about each other but we still arrange social meetings. We are Not ones for just rocking up to couples house when invited as I think that pressure is there whether or not there is an attraction there to play. So would rather there wasn't that pressure.

People might get on on chat with good banter but that's not to say there will be a sexual attraction aswell. We not looking to date anyone so physical attraction is first on our list of musts.

I do socials first but it does seem harder to get people to make arrangements even when you’ve said yes.

Easier to meet at a club or the pub quiz has been a good place to meet people.

Totally agree, people have forgot it is a swingers site and there is a big difference between swingers, dating and sex.

I find because it has become free for all, fab has become more of a drama fest of fakeness.

I wouldnt say shit as if it was that bad I'd leave.

Not as easy to meet as it was back in the beginning but it is what it is.

Alot more singles than cpls now and alot use the site for diffrent reasons now.

Socials chatting making a quick £ whatever.

It's up to you the individual to use it how you want.

No I don't think it's shit either, we have met some amazing people through fab by going to socials and cjs. Had such a laugh and made some really great friends and if it was shite we would also leave however sometimes we like to take a break as we do get bombarded alot when people don't read profiles no matter how short or long they are and constant last minute invites which do annoy us as we clearly say can't meet at short notices.

We have a very long profile but the real couples will read, fakes won't.

Don't think it's shit, we like so many others use it for what we want n do our best to ignore the crap. We never meet blind, always at a social or club, best way to see if there's an attraction rather than endless hey how you doing messages.

Many people use it for different reasons and that's their perogative

Can’t be arsed jumping through hoops or making the effort when the preferred kind of meet I want seems to have dwindled for a more social type. Folks have preferences and likewise I have mine.

Fake profiles have always been part and parcel on fab same with any dating/hook up site.

Gut instinct has never let me down.

Think 1 of the big changes is that too many try and tell others what the site is ..many use fab for all different reasons be it to just chat or socialise if some want it as just a sex site so be it but too many criticisms on others

It's not shit.. As has been said many times it depends what you want to use it for. It may take time and effort to find people who want the sane things out of it as you do but they are out there. Yes, some people are arseholes, some time wasters, some will ghost you, and others will string you along but that is all true off line as well. Enjoy it for what it is and don't make it your life or the be all and end all

With Fab the effort to reward ratio can be challenging at times. But i have had some incredible experiences that started on here.

I do think that there are more people looking for 1 on 1 encounters theses days.

We’ve met a lot of amazing couples through FAB but I totally see the fakes out there too. I’m getting used to spotting them too. We now have a wee circle of genuine couples that we speak to via kik and what’sapp. That circle gets added to every so often. We are genuine, so get in touch! D&G xx

I don’t think a lot of people are deliberately being time wasters, I think in most instances it comes down to one of two reasons.

1) They simply get cold feet, or like the idea more than the reality .

2) Guys pretending they are single and then for what ever reason cant get away.

I've not been a member long so can't really compare. I think it probably comes down to what your expectations are from the site and whether those are being met. I have no expectations really so there is no disappointment.

The forums can be entertaining & occasionally a decent chat can be had via message once I discard all the dross.

I presume this is a new profile as it states you've only been on for 5 months?

It really depends how far back you are referring to, but fab has always had issues with fakes and creeps. As others have said, its about what you make of it. I usually use it to find out about socials / parties and make the initial contact with new people. I then take things offline.

I can't do in much with social gatherings as I work on shifts

The joys being on night shift permanent.

So it's hard to arrange.

I tend to use the meet now function to catch some one eye.. Or the usual update

Personally I think the site would be better if there was a subscription cost. It would definitely cut the number of fakes and definitely the number of cheating profiles when their other half start questioning the money coming out on direct debit

It's an optional £5. It's hardly a subscription. We've blocked people from messaging that aren't site supporters and it certainly seems to cut out time wasters

Recently been encountering couples with unrealistic expectations.

Last one was in edinburgh, or at least appeared to be. Reading the profile turns out they live in thailand but happy to accomodate anyone who wants to go to them.

Is there some sort of problem with putting your actual location? As there's also a lot of "near you" locations appearing.
