Like everyone we are just enjoying new year’s day and the aftermath of xmas in a financial way lol x

My 2021 Xmas and New Year all been booked and paid for by a family member was given it today at new years dinner as a present but the whole family is going

I sound ungrateful am not defo not but it’s new year’s day and they are away onto 2021 organised booked and all paid.

WTF ?? I love my family but? think am just spoiled at this age so looks like am of to the sun next year , happy days ahead xxx

I get how you're feeling, some people love surprises but some people struggle with one slike this, I'm one of those people, I love when I get a nice bottle of perfume but when I get a gift I have to wait for and know I'm not in control of any of the planning etc it just sends my anxiety through the roof and defo don't tell me you have a surprise for me lol that's a million times worse makes me physicly sick

That's why eg my birthday I didn't want anyone knowing the thought of anyone surprising me or going out their way just knocks me ill lol I'm. Happy just to spend the day with people I care about alas I got a screw in my tyre this year lol that was my only surprise

i don’t want to go to be honest i’ve done all the family christmas stuff and am older now and like you i like to be in control it’s not about the control it’s making my own decisions x

xmas a stressful time for us all but even in a foreign country and 12 family members i know i shouldn’t be moaning xx

I have had a peaceful xmas and a great new year coming and going as i please xx

Thank you I did yes x I did dinner lol sounds bad but at least when I cook Xmas Dinner ri know I'm in for a full on top class meal

I am defo a food snob lol

Hope you have an awesome new year. Sit on it for a while you've plenty of time to put it to the back of your mind and perhaps bearer the time if it's still maki g you feel the same perhaps a name change, I'm sure there would be someone else who would love to go, perhaps family dynamics may change someone may have a new partner etc xx whatever you decide try not to let it worry you lal year xx
