So, with 2020 hindsight, what are our biggest regrets from last year? Or further back if you had a cracking year?

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I’ve learned I shouldn’t block friends completely even after a fall out. Possibly my biggest regret over the last couple of years was not being there for a really good friend when they went through one of the worst times of their life. Happily we’re back to being friends and I’m now part of the happiest time of their life.

Do you have any regrets Danny?

It's like a pinball machine. Get thrown about, not knowing where you will go, ups and downs, knocked by bumpers and flippers. Occasionally get another chance ... On the whole, just take the gamble and maybe you'll get a jackpot

I made a few errors of judgment but I've also learnt a lot. No regrets.

Going into 2020 with lots of goals to achieve so I can leave it feeling proud

2019 marked the end of several years with the wrong partner, put myself through hell for her and in the end was discarded like a pair of worn out shoes.... took such out of me the person!!

But I've came through it all and looking forward to many new things in my life and learning to do for Me!!

Hopefully meet my partner in crime in 2020

Regrets, I've had a few

But then again, too few to mention - oh no wait that’s a song!

No regrets just learning curves which teach me how to do it better next time

All part of life - I spent nearly half my life with the wrong partner but no regrets as such you learn and move on and now at an age where relationships should be fun and if not end it

Agree with all who say no regrets only learning. Regrets waste energy and bring potential bitterness which can spoil the here and now, learning brings positivity, growth, wisdom and experience (hopefully )

2019 taught me to say yes to everything, even if it seems a little scary, so I'm rolling that attitude into 2020

My take on it is it’s possible to regret something and then learn and grow and move on from it.

I think it’s almost impossible to not regret stuff - even if it’s brief. And regret usually leads to learning something about yourself or others and moving on and changing.

Wallowing in regret is different

Very true. No point in wasting time on regrets. You can’t change the past. You can change the future.

spot on but for many they are incapible of moving on or changing.

Of course we all have regrets about one thing or another but its how you move on from the regrets that make all the difference
