Whats peoples view on the Winks system on the site .

Are they there for people to show there interested and would like you to take the first step and message them or would you say a way off apprecating your profile + pics .

I think it can be an icebreaker but some people don't use it like them. Seen ladies say they ignore the winks completely

Easier to send a wink than a message initially. Both are equally ignored usually. the winks a one click go to button

Rarely look at winks or friend requests tbh

I only add people I've actually met as friends so will send my own request

Same as us, if someone doesn’t message or wink back we just move on.

for some winks actually work , if i see some one new when on my phone ill send a wink ( they normally dont stay on site long) if they have been on the site for a while then ill mail when i get back to my keyboard, since alot of messages are cut and paste going by some of the comments previously a wink is an ice breaker and if the other folk want to look at a profile and see if there is any thing that catches their eye then they can either wink back or mail. if they wink me i normally mail them with a thanks

Saw a few status updates stating winking is just being lazy, I don't see it like that. I'll send winks to test the water, I also recieve winks & see them as the person showing an interest.

Too many wankers on here so happy to be a winker

We gladly welcome winks and when we send a wink it's showing that we like what we have seen so far and if they wink back we then send a message to them and then go from there X

You can only wink a person every 30 days, system doesnt allow you to do more.

Think if you dont delete the wink it stops repeat ones for a while.

I prefer messaging someone. But if their profile has ,very little written about themselves or what they are looking for, I'll send a wink.

Handy tool the auld wink i think. Saves someone sending a message that was getting deleted anyway . At least the winked at person is interested they can wink back and it let's the guy know that a message would be welcomed .
