The Club Scene For New Couples.

Hi everyone,

We're a completely new couple on the scene and looking to visit the After8 Club, possibly this coming Friday!

We're looking for an insight into clubs in general, as we're both nervous but excited at the same time to be visiting one.

Although we initially had preconceived ideas about being pestered by single guys we're reading much more about how much fun it is.

What do most people do on arrival, and what's your method of letting people know that you're not just not feeling the attraction so as to garner the attention of others you like?

After8 is a very friendly club, if you go just go with the flo and enjoy.

Yes theres a few single guys that will hang around but your in control.

Very friendly staff and people that go there.

Hope this helps a bit, enjoy your night and have fun xx

The best possible advice would be to treat the evening as a social gathering & if anything else happens, that is a bonus.

Go in, moderate what you drink & talk to people.

If you don't want to play, just say so, no one will be offended

We’ve never been to After8 but are still relatively new and have been to CJs. Everyone was really friendly and it was just an enjoyable night. As someone mentioned above, treat it like a night out and enjoy yourself.

Thanks for the advice, much appreciate you taking the time.

We're still trying to fix up Friday for a BI MMF. The club will be where we'll head if we can't arrange it between now and then.

We're not really into pushy, single guys; and wouldn't want them ruining the evening. We'll try and engage a couple in conversation quickly just in case... lol

I've found that chatting to other people who are attending the night is useful - gives you someone to chat to when you get there, and you might already have clicked with them and have an attraction so can build on that. I'll pop up a meet and put it in my status to let people know I'm going

That's very appealing to us. X

I have went to After8 on a few occasions now as a single female and have always felt comfortable and safe. Its a very friendly club and the regulars and staff will make you feel very welcome. The hardest bit is walking over the threshold but once thats done.. Just go with the flow.

I've not played as yet cos i feel im still finding my feet in this world but i have really been enjoying the social side.
