Wouldn't fret about it too much OP. They just saved you from wasting your time as well. Plenty more people on here to try and get a conversation going.

Maybe try to make that first message stand out though. "How was your weekend" is one we get far too frequently. Once you've been chatting to someone for a while it's fine to ask about their weekend mind, but wouldn't start off that way x

This...you've asked them to stop messaging but they persist with their pish. Not knowing their whereabouts, a boot square in the baws is not an option. So I reluctantly settle for the block button.

I have blocked a few persistent people wanting to cam, and when I have politely told them we dont do cams, they try convince us then leave it few days weeks and same message again so I block simply because I've already said my whys and been polite about it. Just not our thing.

Others has been few men asking for pics, naked pics or sexy chat when hubby asleep when I politely tell them We not looking to chat or meet men at this moment in time, they say OK then days later ask again and again so hubby blocks them.

Men who have messaged and we said same as above, majority have been lovely and understand.

Don't delete people for fun of it only if they hassle me and hubby gets annoyed as we have preferences for a reason

Maybe they're just on a power trip or maybe they recognised you. Could be any number of reasons in between. I wouldn't worry about it. Something that can be very apparent on here at times is that old saying "there's nowt as queer as fowk".

I must admit tho there has been some blocks that have got me scratching my head as in when you're browsing the forums, read someone's post and click their profile only to find you've been blocked. Folk from timbuktoo you've never had any interaction with whatsoever until you clicked on their profile a second before.

I've blocked people based on their attitude on the forums, I find they give a better indication of what someone is like because when people are messaging they are trying to impress. I'm sure I've been blocked by people because I'm vocal on the forum too, as well as not being what someone is looking for.

I don't think anything of it, if someone has blocked me then in their head they have a valid reason for doing so.

I use it if I'm not interested in someone I use it if I see shit behavior in forums I use it to stop abuse after I've said no thankyou people shouldn't take it to heart

We block ALL single men

We don’t want contact from single men

We’ve blocked messages from them, but sadly they still fab our photos which is a form of contact

When we want single men we pick them up at clubs after observing them and seeing what they are actually like

Sadly single men don’t read our profile and they fab the photos so we block them

Point of this post is

Sometime you get blocked because the people you’re initiating contact with are just not interested

That’s the whole point though

It’s a major flaw in the site

When you are given the option to block certain things you’re not interested in, they should be blocked all together

If a homophobic idiot blocks bi and gay men, but then gay and bi men still fab their photos that’s going to perpetuate hate

It’s an extreme example but it’s true

You wouldn’t poke a wasps nest

It’s the age old thing of people not reading the profiles

All the information is there unless it’s a fake profile

If you know they are miles away and you have no chance, why do it

Cos you like how they look, which is a form of attraction, you are attracted to that photo even if it’s for wank purposes

You then go back to perv again!!

This showing that you are actually attracted even though you know nothing will ever come of it

You then hit the fab button so that the person who the photo is of knows that you are attracted even though you know it will never happen coz they are miles away

You’ve just initiate contact, you can come up with as many reasons as you like to deny it but as all people on here can see who has fabbed their photos

That’s contact, plain and simple

It might not come to anything but don’t deny that you secretly hope it does

All situations are real life

Just because we do it on an internet platform doesn’t make it any different

Tinder, you like someone you initiate contact by swiping a certain way

Facebook, you like something to show approval and thus initiating contact to show that

Twitter, you do the same

Snap chat, the same

Instagram etc etc etc all the same

The person you like doesn’t have to reply, but that doesn’t mean that you haven’t made the first move

A game of chess can only be won once someone starts

This platform is no different, we like, we message, if we can’t message, we wink, if we can’t wink, we fab, this making the first move

As it’s a move we have no interest in from this site, we block that move instantly

It is our decision to run our profile the way we choose too

But since we explained in our first post to this thread why some people get blocked to assist in the original posters question

We had people telling us that we are wrong

No one is right or wrong in their decisions on how they want to use fab or how they make it work for them

We do meet single men in clubs, we don’t meet single men from here - simples

Im not fibbing either when i say i fab pics just because i like them. Under no illusions that it means anymore than that.

I would liken the pics i fab to a modern day art collection which i admire and peruse at my leisure and only exceptional pieces of work will be added to it

We were called harsh and then suffered online abuse from a post that has been removed

None of which were warranted

We simply made our reasons for blocking known to the OP so as to show that people have all kinds of reasons for blocking them

Let’s say for example you see a pair of shows on wish

You put them into your favourites, you don’t message the seller but you’ve shown an interest in them by adding them to your favourites

It’s a completely subconscious animal instinct

We aren’t even aware that we do it, but and will disagree here, we see it as a form of contact

Especially when you block the option of messages

May I redirect you to the part where you said anyone who fabs a pic is looking to make contact. You followed that up by saying that if we claimed that contact was not the reason to fab then we are fibbers.

I read your words and I objected. I’m not insulting you, I’m observing.

It doesn’t irritate us

Never has

We just open their profile and hit block, we don’t look, don’t want to as it’s not what we want

We still allow fabbing because we won’t cut our nose off to spite our face as couples, women and TVs can still fab them and we welcome that

Again

It seems there has been an awful lot of people that seem to think we have an issue with it

Our issue is

We blocked all single men so that should be blocked from seeing our profile at all

It is a site flaw as pointed out earlier

The OP has asked for reasons for being blocked

We shared our reasons

Since then people have chipped in with insults and questions why we choose to do it

The answer

Because it’s our profile and it’s the way we want to run it

Maybe they have seen your profile while searching through the site and knew you weren't for them and just blocked you

I have done that with people too for example someone looking for BBC and they don't mean big biker cock so i know there's no point trying to talk to them so just block them

That's no true either because what folk put in the forums and how they talk to someone one on one is a totally different thing

Some folk on here try for a bit of banter or something and just because it doesn't tickle your pickle doesn't mea you have to block them and if they are the same sex as you then if they are straight then they'll o be looking at your profile anyways

We block single guys who send friend requests without chatting first.

Also block smokers if we notice in browsing just so we don’t get messaged by them.

I block folk who haven’t even interacted. If I don’t like the look of them, like what they say on here or what’s on their profile then I’ll block. If they/ I message and it goes cold, I’ll presume no further interest required and block. Saves everyone time. Same with all the ‘pitty me’ profile headers. Instablock.

It’s a choice. You wouldn’t expect everyone in a bar to want to talk, engage or sleep with you. Why expect it here?

I'm sure this will get me blocked but that seems to be your thing. I have fabbed lots of pics and haven't initiated contact with the lady or couple, usually because I've also read their profile and I see I won't be right for them, or them for me. This doesn't mean I can't appreciate the pictures posted and fab it out of respect.
