Rope or Bungee?

A friend and I are going to be taking some photos outside with me bound to various things. It will be at night (and cold) so we don't want to be hanging round between scenes too much.

I am thinking that to get a taut rope (e.g. tying round a tree, or having my hands bound and tied to a high overhead branch) using bungee cord would help save time. We'll use rope for binding my hands etc... when not being tied to an object.

Does anyone have any advice on which rope to use? Any other advice or suggestions would be welcome.

If anyone wants to come and help/ watch feel free to message.

Sash cord is relatively cheap and available in any hardware shop.

Looks exactly like traditional rope.

Bungee chord has the potential of cutting off blood flow.

A non-stretch rope won't contract.

I use ratchet pulleys from time to time, you could fix them to the tree etc then tighten things up with those.

Pm if you want more info
