We’ve stayed in (and had meets in) the Apex bar is open to the public and reception desk isn’t in view if lifts too the rooms

Malmaison pricey but worth it first floor there is a drinking area with a lift to all floors if you get my drift

The Apex is nice, had a couple of meets there, and the top floor suites are very very nice and a good bit less than the equivelant in Malmaison ( which is v nice too)

Holiday Inn Express , Dock St. There is a car park you can walk through from to reception and the lounge , there is a lift on the right as you walk in from the car park.

You can catch the lift from street level so no need to go near reception, the doors to the rooms are usually open but if not you could wait for visitors and let them through .
