If you had to recommend a place for a city break, I have 2 questions.....

1-Where

And

2-Why?

Geneva

Its an amazing city of fantastic architecture and steeped in history, with the Alps as a backdrop. Also, the ladies are beautiful and very, very chic.

London

Budapest.

It's prague as it was 20 years back, relatively untouristy.

Not as busy as other places, easy to get around. Good underground - excellent tram system.

Plenty of reasonably priced, good beer

I liked Budapest, Graz was closed when i was there.

Bergen in Norway had it all, nightlife, lovely smiley upbeat people and nice to just walk around.

Glasgow

Dubrovnic in Croatia....The most romntic old walled city ive been to. The pavements in the city are so old and worn they shine like glass...oh and in summer Croatia is HOT.

Croatia is still relatively cheap and is a 2 1/2 hr flight

Oh one more thing, unfortuntltely there are very few sandy beaches but the rocky coastline makes for thousands of deep, clearwater pools and secluded places. But hey,who needs seclusion its also covered in nudist areas both vanilla and not so vanilla?
