Do lots of people tell a few white lies or outright falsehoods about age?

Asked my better half to guess the age of a woman from her profile pic. She guessed 46, the persons profile said 28.

Made me laugh a bit.

Never seen the need to deceive about my age, if I’m not within the bracket you like then no harm no foul I say. Can appreciate it though if someone’s paranoid about their own and tell a little white lie, but wouldn’t bother me.

I've never lied about my age. I don't see the point as I'm quite happy within myself at the age that I am. If someone lied about their age in order to get round age filters to be able to message you, I guess that's a different story x
