Got a 2day spa break coming up soon and wondered if anyone knew of good places to eat nearby as i have only booked in for bed and breakfast.

Ayrshire

Only place fairly close I know is the Waterside as previously mentioned.

Around 10 min in either direction you have Chichinis in Ardrossan or near Largs you have Scotts but if like me you love your steak pie Three Reasons in Largs is best Steak Pie in Ayrshire.

Waterside is fabulous for food drink.. Lovely sea views of Arran and long beaches to walk in the evening. Head over to Portencross from Seamill along the shore its a lovely walk.

Hydro is one of ayrshire top wedding venues. Nice bit of the coast.

I learned to swim at Seamill. Saltwater pool. It was rank ( mid 70s )

A largs nardinis ice cream double cone is imperative Bluebell. I recommend the butter pecan and scottish tablet.. To die for and its massive.. Lol

Waterside or as stated the three reason Steak pie is the best I have had and can't forget chocolate cake. Definitely wouldn't be disappointed at either of them.

Enjoy your spa.

Also the seamill has it's own restaurant but couldn't tell you if it was any good

The restaurant in the hydro is amazing the orangy I'm sure it's called honestly food is amazing I'm going there next Sunday for an overnight can't wait x
