One of the seven deadly sins (THEY say ) all seven being pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth. There are also seven heavenly virtues prudence, justice, temperance(or humility, courage (or fortitude) faith, hope, and charity.

I can't get my head around pride being a sin, so I'll just double negative it and say I'm proud of my pride. Yay! My pride is now heavenly!

We should live by both. We all take the rough with the smooth every day in our lives. Choose to live by the positives and you'll be happy. Everything else we learn by and move on. The smallest of things make me happy, like the plaque hanging on my hallway wall that says "life is short, always choose happiness". It's the first thing I see every morning and it always makes me smile x

Taking the middle ground... which is fine. All opinions respected though for me... I can’t see why one would incorporate the deadly sins as part of living life... maybe I’m missing out

All things in moderation. Even though the seven deadly sins may seem to be excesses of natural desires, at the right time for a short time they aren't bad.

Meaning is about being too proud to back down or too proud to say sorry etc it’s all about the interpretation very different from taking pride in something or being proud of your achievements
