There’s not been an Edinburgh social in ages half thinking about organising one would there be any interest?

Yes it usually does but I’m just seeing if there’s any interest as there hasn’t been one for a while

I would also try not to clash with other events x

Maybe try for one around Halloween-ish as I know the other event seems to have fizzled out

No there was 2 famous 1s lol the bigger 1 I was never going as it was obvious it was gonna end up 1 way lol

I’ve organised a few in the past and it’s a tough gig so keep that in mind. Edinburgh folks have a habit of never attending stuff on their doorstep but always happy to travel else where; also why there’s no decent gig venues in the town anymore. Saying that, I’d be interested date dependent.

Ive got a couple of tickets and an apartment booked for Saturday 19th cos its my weekend off and im no doing same old same old (i dont need offers of company though for the apartment.. Just wanna get that straight) but just thinking.. Could be a good giggle

We would be interested in a social. Can’t travel for socials just now so one here be ideal so can meet up with people we haven’t seen for years! We have tickets for the cocktail week the line up of pubs and cocktails looks so good. You can also book they wee light up pods which looks funky & different

Don't want to take away from the OP idea but just thought might be an opportunity for some drinks and a giggle.

Dunno how we would know Fabbers though.. Arrange one pub at a certain time and carry a red rose or something LOL (its early.. I cant think of anything else LOL)

Maybe if not too expensive, could book one and have this as the starting meeting place...and if anybody wants to continue on to other places from there then they do just that.
