FabSwingers.com forum: Active but not looking.

As a follow up to the "How fab is changing" thread, I was taken aback at the number of people who said they are still active on the site but generally not looking any more.

I don't mean the ones who have "Not looking" etc on their profile (there is a woman in Glasgow whos displayed that the entire 10+ years I've been on the site!!!)

Instead, I mean those with profiles but not actively messaging to meet. Like they've given up as it isn't worth the hassle.

I'd probably now put myself in that category. Can't actually remember the last time I messaged someone on here with a notion of meeting them. Any interaction tends to be as a result of forum posts or status updates. You can count on fingers of one hand the profiles that interest me.

When I log on the front page is just the same old fakes, professionals and club promo bores.

No doubting that interactactions have changed but it does seem this site is becoming more something to keep folk amused than a method of actually meeting.

Gotta agree!

Think I'm on here now more out of boredom than actually meeting.

Guys seem to think single females are meeting every day where in reality..well for me anyway it really is getting harder to find someone I want to get naked with.

I imagine am actually one of the above! I enjoy the chat room, attending socials and keeping up with FAB friends and yes have been seeing same fabber for 4years now so not actively looking but I pay my money and am using FAB for my own reasons I don’t see anything wrong in that ?

I wasn't around in the(supposed) days when folks were meeting and getting it on after a few messages.

That's never been my expectations of here.

I don't tend to make rash decisions when it comes to meeting, as for me, it doesn't often lead to a fulfilling liaison.

It's possible others have come to realise that too

I think I'm probably in the active but it's highly unlikely I'll meet group.

Even if I do, the chances of having anything more than a drink are extremely unlikely.
