First time trip to CJs

Hey all, we are taking our first trip along to CJs on Saturday. Any tips for our first time ? Or anybody up for a wee social drink before hand to ease our nerves x

Just have a great time and enjoy the social aspect. First time is always pretty daunting but it’s a good night out. I’ll be there on Saturday, feel free to say hi.

It’s a very welcoming place and the regulars are a pretty friendly bunch. Nerves are totally natural (and part of the thrill, first time!) Just treat it as you would any house party where you have to make a bit of an effort at the start and say hi to new people. You’ll be fine.

They’ll show you round personally, a wee tour, to put you at ease. Haven’t been to the new place yet but the old one everything seemed to start (and sometimes never end) in the kitchen area. I loved this bit. Very sociable and you can chill. Then dip in and out, as it were, if any action elsewhere in the building. Good atmosphere, you’ll love it.

You’ll have plenty folk to chat to and everyone’s very welcoming x away with the girls this weekend but no doubt see you another time because I can guarantee it won’t be your last visit x just try to enjoy without drinking to much that’s the biggest bit of advice

That’s good advice!

I once gave two female fabbers a lift there and had no idea how much they’d had to pre-drink before I picked them up …

I was absolutely mortified when they turned into the embarrassing d*unks at the party within the first hour! I ended up making my excuses and leaving early. Felt awful about spoiling anyone else’s night by inflicting wasted people on them.

Ohh I’m sure your right and we will be back x

Yes we are not heavy drinkers and one of us will be driving anyway just incase we do need to leave. Might allow myself one with some dinner before hand

You'll enjoy it, no matter what happens at it.

I've only been to one Fun For ALl night, but it was great. Met so many new people, all of whom were welcoming and chatty.
