Obviously sex slaves is a big issue, but was meaning if the woman was there on their own behalf and not forced, 100% against the foreign sex slaves trade.

It's the oldest profession in the world, has always and will always be around so might as well legalise it to keep everyone clean, safe and off the streets, given regular checks in a secure and monitored location. As for the slaves doing it against their will, I don't know much about that but I'm guessing this also has always and will always happen but with brothels being legal wouldn't that put an end or at least severely impact the trade?

Possibly but I still believe some women choose this as a profession and as abhorrent as the idea is to me, I would support their right to do so.

Long time ago I ended up in a brothel just outside Alicante.

....I was so pished I was on my 3rd pint (and umpteenth of the night) in the place before I realised the nice polish lassie didnt actually fancy me and short fat bald Scottish wasnt her type unless in came with euros.

Anyway great pint and she turned out to be not a bad laugh until some spanish guy took her for business.

Dont think the locals could understand though that in Scotland its acceptable to go to a brothel for drink as it's the only thing opened.

Don’t know about brothels but a few escorts but the difference in price is immense, women in brothels are basically trafficked or otherwise been taken advantage of so it’s semi inexpensive, alongside working girls in the streets who age often homeless/addicts/trafficked in comparison to escorts who generally charge in excess of £100 and they prefer to come

I had a talk with a charity that protects people that end up in modern day slavery yesterday, and yes it’s in every city and brothels in scotland, the network is huge and very hard to escape from

The chances are you would visit a prostitute and have no idea that her passport was being kept, or she had not been outside her house in months or years they are forced to appear happy and sexually provocative or they will be beaten

The money you give is going into a gangs hands and she will be lucky just to have a decent meal but she will not be running away, she will be scared for her life and life of her family as these are mafia types

Many think they are going to be a nanny or a cleaner and end up faced with the most terrible life. Some are literally snatched of a street.

legalise it . if you look at europe cities where it is legal there is a lower rate of some sex crimes against females and males.

it serves a purpose -example - if some one has a disability a prostitutes can make them feel wanted.

health checks is standard in the porn industry and if you dont pass you dont work - same should be for working girls or guys.

There does seem to be an assumption that most sex workers are forced into it which is an uncomfortable thought but I did wonder if that's the case.. tabloids do run the odd story about medical students & other graduates who worked in the sex industry to fund education. Not saying that's right just wondered what the stats really were on numbers who are slaves.

While there's no doubt there are people doing it against their will or because they have problems.

There are also others who do it for very different reasons,they aren't forced, they choose and they do rather well from it . They have ordinary lives and it's a lucrative hobby. Just as these same types of people sell used underwear, or offer phone or text chat services. It happens all the time on here.

I can see why men and women use their services too. And actually looking at some of the emails I receive on here there's an assumption from some men that women on here are effectively free escorts the way we are spoken to and approached.

On a personal level Ive never used a brothel, I wouldn't want to pay for it but that's because I find part of the fun being that the other person actually wants you to be doing things with them. I would find the whole thing a bit robotic knowing she was only doing it for the cash. I had no idea so much people used them etc.

Very true.Using certain brothels is just feeding the people traffickers.Not all brothels are like that but you dont know which ones are. If they are full of foreign girls then the chances are they are not there of their own choice.

I have a disability. A prostitute wouldn't make me feel wanted. Quite the opposite. This is an assumption an many in society have that disabled men in particular, have to use prostitutes. This idea so badly needs eradicated. Most of a prostitutes clientele will be physical fit males.

Was at an aftershow party in Budapest a few weeks ago, lock in bar and two russian girls milling about latching on to folk. Off their tits on drugs and clearly miserable. One just sat in a corner. Undoubtedly trafficked. Sad to see.

Agree with legalisation, control and safety measure put in place so the girls (or I guess guys should things get to that) are safe. For some folks it would be a good living, under the right circumstances.

that was just one example there are lots of others .

and yes most clients of prostitutes are fit males but if you look at the percentage of disabled to able bodies males the the percentage is low so most of their clients will be able bodied. there are lots of disabilities out there and i dont know what your is but ( im not prying) to feel needed or wanted to some is a big thing , it might not be for you but it is for others

Yes definitely agree with you. I’ve had messages late at at night as if this is sex on tap! I’m not far from the airport and will regularly get messages saying they have a hotel room and they expect me to just go over and see them! There’s no respect from some people.

Not my thing to be honest, totally agree regarding the comments about a lot of brothels being sex trafficking etc. Even if it turned out not to be the case with the women in that specific brothel my conscience would still kick in.

I also understand the comments if it's a profession that the woman /man has willingly entered into then that's their right and I agree with that, it should be their right to do as they wish but again from my side I'd feel very uncomfortable paying someone to have sex with me.
