Just a bit annoyed when someone doesn't reciprocate a veri... Does it happen often?

Also when they choose not to show yours when their other ones are viewable.

It depends - but for the most part yes it's polite to reciprocate an arranged and planned meet. Though to play devil's advocate I was once verified by a random person when in chat on cam, I did not return the favour as I felt it was inappropriate. As to showing them, that's entirely up to the person.

I had a social meet recently and we got on okay. I chose not to meet up again but i tried to veri her but at the time i couldnt because i hadnt been veried myself. I asked her to veri me and she refused and said it wasnt her thing then she asked what i was going to say in my veri of her lol

We still chat here so there is no hard feelings.

Everyone has there own ideas on it i suppose and also for showing them.

I have met people and we haven’t verified each other, I usually only verify if asked or receive one.

I have some so that’s enough for people to know I’m not fake and wouldn’t display any that are graphic anyway. Don’t mind social ones though.

Happened once and I was mightily pissed off then realised I was over reacting. People can and should be able to do as they please on here.

With regards to not showing verifications I don't show mine purely to irritate the nosey bastards. My favourite all time one which I used to show disappeared when the person left the site.

I think veris are a bit pointless. I return veris out of politeness but would not care if they did not bother. I only show some of mine although they have all been visible at some point. They all read similar so become rather tedious to read i imagine.

I don't need someone to verify me as I just don't show them anymore. It would depend on who it was as well. I do think that men need verifications more than women as they find it more difficult to get meets if they're not verified x

Or they do verify you in return and it's just out of politeness, especially when it's one line, short and to the point. No one's looking for a big story but a verification like that sounds like they just feel obliged to say something but they're obviously not sure what to say. I wouldn't show a verification like that x

So here's what works for me. If my meet gives me one - doesn't matter whether I displays it or not, I give one back. If my meet asks for one, I give them one. If they display it on their profile it's common courtesy to give one back. If they don't display it on their profile I'm not fussed whether I get one back or not.

The ones who ask for one, display it on their profile and not give one back are in general dickheads. They have their verification, you served your purpose and are no longer worth any effort. They tend to end up on the block list sooner or later, so they can't display the verification. These are exceptions though, only happened twice since I joined fab.

I guess it depends what you use veris for. I’ve always used them to show people I’m genuine and to give a general overview of what I’m like.

I don’t show them all as I don’t see the point. If someone doesn’t verify me, I’m not too fussed

as I have enough already.

I think for some people it’s about ego though and they seem to want everyone to know they’ve had a meet and the ego boost of a (usually unnecessarily graphic) veri.

Not vital at all for a man to display veris. Maybe he has too many and gets dogs abuse from females because of them. "

I have never got dogs abuse for showing my veris but if I did I wouldn't hide them anyways

Was chatting with a couple at a social a while back and discussed this with the guy. They both still have singles profiles and agreed to leave one for him that simply read "decent guy, not an asshole".
