Gosh this site is getting so hard.

Fakes. Dreamers and the unwanted abuse.

How can it be made better for genuine people into the lifestyle and scene.

What can Fab do to help us? They take our subscription money easily enough. What are they doing in return?

Here is one idea to maybe help with the constant fake profiles from the same people.

Who has any more?

You need a phone verification for an account. So a couple can have two and a single have one. It’s easy to create a fake email address. Not so to have numerous phone numbers. Ok may not be the final answer but a start at least.

I know folk who have their normal mobile and their fab mobile.

And personally I would not join a site where I was asked to supply my phone number.

That's a good idea but u do get people deleting their profiles as they've had enough and saying they won't be back and then a few days to a week later they're back on again.

If I had enough I would just hide my profile xx

True.

So if you are asked to verify through a number and can’t if you have before then it’s going to start ruling out the constant same people creating all these profiles.

I would suspect most people get memberships through mobile text subscriptions so are using the phone number for that.

Another question would be what’s to hide if using your mobile number? That’s a debate on the lifestyle in general for another thread I think.

You have only been on 5 months and you have had 10 meets. I think that sounds ok. Only a fool would give their telephone number.

The site offers supporters and non-supporters plenty of assistance;

Different ways of showing you are verified, a forum to interact on including historical posts, moderators to contact, a reporting facility, a block facility, the option to hide your profile, the option to view profiles in stealth mode, a club reviews section and a site help section of the forum too.

There will always be fakes and timewasters, but realistically, given everything that is on offer for just a fiver every couple of months, what more do you want them to do?

The site gives people plenty of tools to work out who is genuine and worth investing time in and who is not.

Not asking for you to give a number out.

Asking when setting a profile up you need a number to verify the account.

In the 5 months we have had.

Abuse beyond what is acceptable to humans.

Same people with numerous accounts message us(easy to spot).

In the meets we have had hundreds of messages to deal with and nearly all have no intention of meeting and turning up (we call them keyboard wankers as that’s all they want)

I've been on a number of years & somehow managed to avoid all these time wasters & hackers! I must be extremely lucky!

What constitutes a time waster? Is it down to our own "screening processes" & whether we make rash decisions? Or is an unverified, newbie classed as a time waster because they back out because of last minute nerves?

Its unfortunate but its not fabs job to out what dosnt suit you thats your job

We have posted a few meets.

One hundred messages in with the same old crap makes you see the fakes and time wasters a mile away.

But to get a meet we need to wade through the dribble to find a gem.

And it takes the full day. Then makes you think fuck this let’s watch telly instead as you are drained from it all.

They don't force people to become site supporters - if you are that irked with what the tools they already offer, just don't purchase the site supporter option then - simple.

Fab can only do so much, the rest is down to the individuals.

Its a choice whether to sub or not.

So if 10p confirms its that easy how exactly would phone veri be udeful ?

Im not trying to say fab is in a good place as its imo not but mostly the blame lies with the users.

You seem to be hinting at problems with folk rejoining with a new profile i agree its a problem so when i realise its them i block them simple

Guess you don’t deal with hundreds of mails. Numerous Verified accounts that turn out be the same person. Green tick. Same pics but totally different profile details. And they have site memberships.

Let you work out how they got verified.....

But still they have memberships. How many site members are on here and they can’t come up with a robust system to reduce?

Hinting at numerous multiple profiles from the same people. Live and active at the same time.

Memberships and green ticks on said same profiles.

So as the OP said how can we make it better and have less of the fakes?

i dont deal with hundreds of mails neither do you though thats a gross exaggeration.

thats not to annoy you ive seen plenty of fem friends mailboxes to know the warcry of hundreds a day is nonsense unless they update need a fuck or some such.

The way the sites setup there isnt much the site can do plenty you can do to reduce it yourself.

ive been here donkeys days ive never had the problems you are suggesting because i do things to stop it being an issue

report button send your evidence fab will check and any breaking of t and cs they will take action i know from experience

Why are they fake? Are they just time wasting or pic collectors? Or are they meeting under different names?

Oh dear me. If you don’t want a debate without slagging people off I suggest you leave this one to the grown ups.

If you would like to be patronised the way you did in your last sentence towards us then more than happy to oblige. But that’s not our style. It is very clear it is yours when answering for someone and making that answer on something you factually don’t know.

The average mail chain is let’s say 10. Which couples and females will know is grossly low. Our last meet we had 3 guys. So we have 30 messages so far.

We hade 5 no shows. 50 messages.

Now we are at 80 messages before we even think about all the others for the 12 hours the meet post was up.

Next time you want to maybe not be patronising when you are clueless.

I have a view that multiple sites are not fake sites. I reckon plenty of guys have multiple sites to try and suit as many girls/couples as possible. I think that just reflects the real world. As I have said on here on other forums ALWAYS get a pic off a guy asap. That may help.

To OP. As an old fart myself maybe I should tell you how it was before Fab. Me and Mrs old fart would buy a contact mag every month for £5. We would go through it and select those we were interested in. You would then have to send a stamped address envelope and a £1 for every one you selected (min £5) with your details in. We used to do 10 at a time. You would then have to wait for a reply (one took 2 years). You would be lucky to get 2 replies (and my wife was/is stunning) but if you got a reply you were pretty certain they were genuine. When you met you still had the same issues about out of date photo's etc. We met loads of fab couples and had a great time. Fab is a hundred times easier, even with the time wasters. You don't know you are born! x

I once had over 1200 unread mails & I certainly wasn't updating my status begging to be fucked!

I was new here & it was actuallyvery overwhelming, I did have 10-12 public pics on my profile at the time, none of the pics were graphic & apart from a few topless ones the rest were underwear, lingerie etc (no face pics)

I was on everynight trying to get through them all but I ended up just deleting them all AND deleting my public pics then eventually I deleted my profile as well.

As you can see, I've got myself a new profile & I'm keeping my head down lol
