Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed with the amount of spelling mistakes when posting messages?

Especially from those who claim to be professionals lol.

I hate spelling mistakes in profiles too. It only takes a quick read over to check what you have written.

Its so anoyin when speeling is rong lol.

spelling doesnt bother me as much as bad grammar , for instance , when in chat and someones says, me going to do that or me did that , drives me insane it makes an adult sound like a two year old. I agree with the text speak though , we have vowels for a reason , please use them.

Me gets pissed off with that too!!!

Thankfully the biggest offender of the 'me' crime doesn't come into chat now...drove me mad!!

I can live with the spelling thing...my typing is very slow and fingers keep slipping onto wrong keys..which makes it look carp!!!Hate the textspeak thing with a passion.I always check spelling and grammar before sending messages....is it an age thing or just me??

You can understand mistakes in chat though, forums to an extent…. in a rush to get things out, especially if they are witty and relevant to what someone has typed before you.

Profile though…. you would think that they would have a read through it to check for any obvious mistakes!

Spelling doesn't bother us at all. Who knows if someone has learning difficulties that mean they cant spell some words. Shouldn't mean they should get brought down for it.

At the end of the day everyone has faults and no-one is perfect. I (mrs) couldn't care less if someone picks me up on my spelling mistakes, usually means they have nothing better to do with their time
