We are going to the evening performance next Saturday.

Are there any preferred pubs for a quick drink with others dressed up for the show?

Don't want to be the only ones in full Frank and Magenta costumes, it's scary enough driving that far dressed up let alone standing in a bar.

Myself and the OH are going but not in full dress sadly the variety bar just up from the kings is a great wee bar and also the Griffin on the corner across from the kings is always mobbed

I'm going with a bus load of burlesque girls and I'll be in full frank gear including 4 inch heels.. Making me very very tall lol.

I'm also singing sweet transvestite live in a show with the burlesque troupe in November in Livingston. Can't wait.

If anyone going wants to message and chat I'm always up for making new RHPS friends.

I might even message back A pic of what I'll be wearing also lol.

Its gonna be awesome. Saw the show several years ago at Edinburgh playhouse with Oliver Thornton as Frank and that was brilliant. I was full frank that night too.

Just got back from tonight's performance and it was fantastic. A lot of the ladies were dressed up but very few men made an effort.

I went to see it on Wednesday night and it was awesome

As for pubs with people dressed up

The Griffin across thr Road had a few

The witherspoons on Sauchiehall Street had a few

I'm sure it's just one of those things that there will be a few in loads of the pubs, and you will either get weird looks, high fives or offers

Enjoy the show. It was amazing

Agreed, blooming expensive e ice cream but so refreshing especially with the heat.

Good job we weren't wearing many clothes to help keep us cool.
