I have no motivation for the gym. Hate the places.

Keep the stamina up by playing football and running.

This! Amazing what getting the blood flowing can do for you if you’re getting bogged down in your own mind.

Exercise outside and breath in the fresh air. I would grudge paying for a gym pass when u can do so much for free.

This used to happen to me to so i took my gym stuff to work and at end of working day got changed there and went to gym on way home, even if it was just for 10 mins. I was more intent on establishing a habit to go rather than exercise heavily to start with and it worked for me .

This is a good idea. I might give this ago.

It’s more about getting back in the routine I guess

Fochabers

I used to go 6am every day before work because I really enjoyed it.

Just started going again;after a long break, and my motivation is getting back to enjoying it again.

For me it's just convenient.

I needed more exercise than carrying the weekly asda shopping up three flights of stairs.

Thats what to focus on. You dont have to think about having to work hard its ok not to & dont think you have to pick up where you left off from before. Even if you just want to go one visit a week for a few weeks and for as few minutes as you want thats perfectly ok. You are concentrating on building up a routine YOU are comfortable with.

Hope you manage to go back & enjoy it for what it is- the rest will come.

After living in the highlands for years I do hate indoor training. I lprefer practical "real life" strength. Nothing beats having to chop down & process trees, dig drainage ditches etc

Just the enjoyment of whatever I’m doing there, be it a bit of stretching, treadmill session, or weights.

Not necessarily motivated by anything other than the enjoyment and reckon that’s the best way.

I don’t have any motivation at the moment - I’m just so tired when I get home from work I can’t be arsed doing any gym work

I know I should but I think I’m getting too comfy in my old age - I just want to flop on the couch !!!

I’m a member of Xercise 4Less but I am thinking of splashing out and joining the One Spa at the Sheraton in Edinburgh as i have been there and loved their thermal suite and the rooftop hydro pool

Don’t suppose there are any One Spa members in here ?
