I hate the sound of bagpipes. Gives me a headache listening to one man let alone dozens of bands.

I’d been living overseas for a couple of years and was home for a short trip. Saw the Tennents ad using Caledonia, and I got a lump in my throat and the hair went up on the back of my neck. Think I was probably a bit homesick at the time but still love that song.

The crowd singing Flower of Scotland at Murrayfield always gives me goosebumps

I love a few of the older ones like Caledonia and summer me Proclaimers but at the moment Gerry Cinnamon is my new musical Bard.

His lyrics are so poignant and true and reflect life in scotland over the last 30 years since that cow MrsT fucked off. Off to see him before Christmas too.

If you haven’t heard his stuff then I advise you to do so.

I’ll leave you with this from Diamonds in The Mud.

Classics like flower of Scotland and Caledonia always insight pride in our beautiful country :D also, auld lang syne. It always reminds me of school to be honest!

I am loving Gerry Cinnamon, he's incredible. His songs are great and they are powerful.

Lewis Capaldi is also a particular favourite of mine at the moment. His voice is beautiful AND well, he's hilarious. Like Gerry, there's the odd lyric added to his songs that make you giggle (as a Scot), which may go over the heads of the masses

Archie - I bet his bruising history was illegal

Spencer - Very popular with the ladies if the stereotype was correct

PC Plumb - Was found dead in his own station with his baton up his bum and cuffed to the cell door. Death by misadventure

Miss Hoolie- Right little racer who was all over Fab Swingers. She liked a good gangbang and rumours have it she loved Spencer's Dong

Eadie McCreadie - Used her bus to run dogging bus runs for locals and Miss Hoolie has a front seat. Many a time the bus looked like a plasterers radio.

Josie Jump - As her name suggested she was good for a jump. Very popular in the village but even she wouldn’t shag Archie.

Suzy Seeet - Jailed for dealing cocaine from her sweetly shop. Kids going in asking for ‘swedgers’ for decades and no cunt thought to investigate. PC Plumb had a constant sniff so that may explain we why.

Polly Pocket - Although wheelchair bound she managed to tap into the online demand for wheelchair fetishists across the world and is now in LA

Wild mountain thyme, Bonnie Dundee. I belong to glasgow.

Pipes n drums road to the isles, highland cathedral.

The glaswegian march by the Scots guards always gives me goosebumps.

And flute bands do some great versions of traditional scottish tunes aswell like fyvie 'o, piper of dundee, Mary of argyll, annie laurie etc.

Loads of great folk music from scotland and Ireland out there.
