I always find it amusing when I read verifications and the guys leaving them are purely complimenting/selling themselves.

I'm maybe a bit different in that I don't tend to read the veri. More interested in the person sending them.

We all have our own internal prejudices and if I see someone left a veri by certain folk then it's a big no no from me.

I've never given or received a bad or strange veri, I just wouldn't leave one.

I find the detailed ones rather off putting and it tells me that the person writing it probably isn't to my taste.

Isn't the object of a verification simply to confirm that the person is who and what they claim to be? A detailed description of a meeting, even if true, doesn't necessarily mean others would have the same enjoyable experience.
