Hi looking for a bit of advise stopping just east of Edinburgh Friday to Monday this weekend and looking for something to do

Not play related , but you have the Natinal flight museum near Haddington which is only about 10 minutes away, its good and you can get on board the iconic Concorde if you wanted. You could post a meet offering a day out there perhaps.

Am not being picky... well ok I am but if He Devil's suggestion wasn't quite what you had in mind then that sounds like you DO know what you want to do rather than looking for suggestions... wonder what it could be...

The Fort retail park has a cinema and a few places to eat.

There's a pub next to the gym called the Cuddie Brae it's quite old school.

Musselburgh or Portobello aren't far away . They are wee seaside towns.

Train station will get you to Edinburgh city centre every half hour.

If you mean swinging then there's the after 8 club in Edinburgh. Not somewhere I'd go but some people really rate it
