Anyone on here done this?

I'm doing it tomorrow with a few pals and looking forward to it.

Wouldn't be overly fussed if we all got locked in the gaff!

Thank God!! Haha!

Excellent, I'm a late draft in due to a change in circumstances but I'm quite looking forward to it.

I'm staying away from the gift shop!

I done it over 20 years ago. Interesting enough. There was a 45/60 min free bar at the end that got absolutely hammered. Probably the most I have d*unk in that sort of time period in my life.

I do enjoy brewery tours etc but I normally go as a technical outing, best one ever was the tunnocks factory the day after I started the best diet I’ve ever been on lol still managed to lose a stone that month

Limited to 3 drinks now, according to my pal. A 45-60 minute job would have been fantastic, but for 15 quid, business suicide!

It was amazing and the tea cakes were awesome so much better fresh when the base is crunchy

I’d also recommend the Belhaven tour in Dunbar. They are refurbishing at the moment so not on again till August. Done it a couple of times and it was brilliant VFM.

Would definitely recommend it, some areas were closed off due to works taking place, but it was excellent nonetheless. Fascinating learning about the production and history. And it made us all very thirsty!

No need for a claims injury lawyer there, I'm sure your dad came to an agreeable settlement with them!

They told the story of the Tennents 'Lager Lovlies' yesterday, it came about completely by accident and only developed into a feature due to public demand.

My Grandad was a big advocate! As was my old man, come to think!

I remember at christmas time being sent into the kitchen to get cans of tennents for the men and I always made sure I gave the one with the nicest looking lady to my dad (obviously no loyalty to my mum!!)

Edinburgh

A couple of the ladies who were on the cans are alive and well and living here in Edinburgh.

Ine is still a stunner whereas the other is a fat old bag these days.

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow

Did the tennents tour a couple of weeks ago and wasn’t that impressed to be honest. The visitor centre is interesting but the plant itself isn’t exactly awe inspiring and the tour guide didn’t seem to have a clue what was actually going on.

That said, I make whisky for a living so it was a bit of a busman’s holiday for me. Would maybe be a bit more novel if you hadn’t been to a brewery or distillery before.
