And I thought the thread was about the Noel Coward play Hayfever

If over the counter solutions don’t work for you then the doc might have something stronger.

Good luck.

I take my hayfever tablet before I go to sleep. Saves me from waking up all puffy. Paracetamol during the day (or night in your case) if it's bad. And eye drops help a lot as well x

Apparently if you can get honey that's made locally that helps..

Yeah that's mine just kicked in badly this week as well. Rather annoyed as I've gotten away without the last couple of years.

Ask your GP for fexofenadine. It's prescription only and should relieve your symptoms. X

I've been very lucky this year and not had any days where I've had to take anything. I can handle the itchy nose and throat with the sneezing but see when my eyes are itchy that's it's for me, game over.

It depends what pollen triggers it, mines is oilseed and tree pollen. Oilseed doesn’t affect me where I stay now but if I’m going to visit my folks I have to start taking anti histamines a few days before I go.

Tree pollen does so it usually happen earlier in summer. Chlorpheniramine Recently stopped working for me so have changed to cetirizine to see if that works.

Mine started ridiculously early this year, like late April early May. Thankfully Cetirizine is really effective and very cheap if you buy a generic brand.
