Not even checked the line up

Son is going to Amsterdam to see Tool

Flights, B&B plus gig tickets cheaper than Download

Tool haven’t toured in years and only one UK date that being last night at Donnington so Amsterdam much cheaper

So many on the circuit just now. College funds and tax bills to be paid for. Some really worth seeing others just knock the shit out of it, quireboys being a classic example.

I’m heading this year for the first time! I am actually looking forward too seeing the older bands as it will be a first time seeing a lot of them!

A lot of the older bands I’ve seen and met.

Similar to Download at the weekend some of these guys were amazing 30odd years ago however, age has caught up with the likes of David Coverdale and Joe Elliott and their voices just don’t quite make it like they used to.

Some of the younger bands are shit hot though

The ZZ’s have always been better live, a couple of years ago I sat in with a ZZ tribute band which was fun

Def Leppard are just shite these days. Bit the bullet and got tix for Glasgow last year. Was just dull. Strangely his voice is always decent in the down n outz stuff. Maybe more in his range these days.
