Just had an ex fab member call my work as she wasnt happy i hadnt replied to her out of fab.

I feel this is a tad out of line do you not think? Im just concerned it doesnt stop at just a call

Interested to know your thoughts or if something similar has happened to you?

Definitely not acceptable but you broke the golden rules of Fab . Giving away to much information. Best advice be nice, ask her not to call you at work again and distance yourself. If you go guns blazing shes probably gonna do it many times more.

I was just saying this in pm, i gave very little to start and before i knew it she was on the street :-/

Has really put me off fab for a bit..

I have mailed apologising for the lack of reply but i was working. I have mentioned i didnt appreciate the call to work and with that i think we should leave things be.

I wouldn’t even call my sons work if he hadn’t responded (except if urgent) and I certainly wouldn’t lower myself to ask for or demand a response.

Think your polite response is the best way and hopefully she will leave it at that

As fab is a microcosm of the offline world I guess its inevitable to find people who find boundaries confusing or difficult.. You have clearly, politely and firmly explained how you felt.. Hopefully lessons will be learned and you can move on.. Wish you all the best OP.

If you are rude and she does have issues you will only stir up irrational thoughts and actions from her so best stay calm but firm

I don't think it's anything to take out of proportion. She may have thought it was ok, being calm and explaining it isn't should be your first option and next time be a bit more careful about who you share personal stuff with as others have said
