Driving me nutz...

On a twenty minute journey I had three different occasions where cars blocked junctions... A bus that came out and blocked the whole road even though he could see he had no clear road passage. Two drivers pull out in front of me dangerously and several folk who either had broken indicators or were just downright ignorant... OH one wee motorcyclist read the road properly and let me turn right... am a auld n grumpy or are driving standards slipping... ye can tell me

It's getting worse especially at roundabouts..a lot of idiots driving no one reads the road and indicators never used...

Oh I concentrate on my own driving, I drive a school bus, a car and a motorcycle. Not all at the one time and find I’m totally invisible to drivers especially when I’m on my bike

I was having a similar morning and then as I waited at some traffic lights a wee gumsy baby gave me a cracker of a big toothless smile.

And I then I decided not to let the fuds who can't drive spoil my morning. They'll still be there tomorrow.....and the next day....

My late father was a paramedic and he always welcomed thoughtless drivers

Kept him in a job, unfortunately it was never the reckless driver he had to pick up usually the carnage they left behind

Agreed there, motorcyclists have good and bad too but I'd agree more drivers are ignorant of cyclists than the other way round

Im a bus driver in Edinburgh and i see it all people talking and texting on the phone even mothers with kids in the car as well...i cant do anything .....but im a motorbike rider when im not driving the buses its not the first time iv knocked mirrors off cars and vans when there on the phones..try and catch me if you can..????

Have I picked this up right??? You do that deliberately??? Not sure that's an answer and being pro-bike you're not doing anything for the rep of good bikers.

Thank feck for that... not that you got knocked off, that's a prime example of bad driving and in your case being a bike he could have killed you. Dinna blame you to a certain extent for making the point re texting - it's an awful habit and one that is done all too often

I have a woman in a white Merc who deliberately tries to run me off the road on a weekly basis in Glasgow city centre.

I pulled alongside her at a very busy junction to see her on the phone and fixing her eyelash at the same time.

I pulled in my clutch and revved the bike to attract her attention to the lights changing. She had the audacity to pull away whilst looking for her phone which she had now dropped under her seat
