Does anyone actually put milk in the bowl before cereal or is it just an urban myth?

Kind of actually.

I'm partial to a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes. One bowl isn't enough. I pour the 2nd lot into the milk

Has to be cereal first. You judge how much milk is required based on the amount of cereal poured.

Yep.

I never drink any leftover milk either, apparently loads of folk do but the very thought scunners me.

How did you even come up with this question? What actually happened to make you ask

I’ve only ever done it when I’ve hardly any milk left and need to keep some for tea so rather than put cereal in and then not have enough milk I’ll put milk in then add enough cereal till it’s enough otherwise it’s cereal first

I've got to carefully pour my milk down the side of the bowl after I've put the cereal in so it doesn't soggy my Cinnamon Graham's and its only enough to cover the bottom of the bowl and no more. All that sugary goodness can't be melting into the milk....what a waste that would be

I've never heard of anyone pouring the milk in first and even the thought of it is totally unacceptable!
