Does anyone know whatever happened to these as they where brilliant ways off getting to know others in a relaxed atmosphere , even when the drink was in people where boozey singing there heads off to mad music usually played by a no bad musician round the camp fire

Oh I miss those socials

Attended one many years ago when I 1st joined Fab through in Edinburgh, not far from Musselburgh racecourse. Agree with you that it’s a good way to meet other Fabswingers. Unfortunately the wee dynamo who used to arrange these is no longer on the site

Don’t know if this was the 1st one, a lot of people that went to the one I attended appear to no longer be on the site.

There have been many camping socials organised through the years none of which we have ever attended but believe them to have all been great nights

Was the one you went too one where the gazebo was the only thing that kept us all dry from the constant downpour?

It would be better organised by people who are used to doing the socials as they seem to get a good turn out .

Can I suggest to great places if there still in existence one defo is ( lochranza campsite or Dunvegan on Isle off Skye )
