Makes me wonder why folk would ask this? I'd never go up to anyone from here in a gym never mind anywhere else.

Agree with this. And my post or even pre-gym look is probably the least flattering one I have. No danger would I be approaching anyone in that state!

That's actually my disposition in most situations! Supermarket. Work. At the football, etc.

Pure Gym, Dundee - although, as a couple have already said above, whilst I appreciate a nice distracting visual from time-to-time, getting chatting at the gym is not what I am there for or when I look my best

Plus, I generally follow the rule: headphones on == don't bother me...
