When should you delete messages

Puzzled when I message others they may read but don’t respond or respond and chat a bit and then all goes quite .

I generally assume individual not interested so delete messages including the ones read and move on after a few days

Question is am I being to hasty and assuming individual is not interested and deleting my private messages to them or should I wait a bit longer ?

If it's a new or newish contact I send, I delete after they have been online since I sent it. Whether they have read it, not read it or read it and naemrjed it unread. (not that I can ever know the last one.. I assume it happens though)

So if I delete to early individual will still get message knowing I have deleted but they can still respond?

I delete all once iv replied to messages even those I'm interested in.

I like to keep things fresh

So can be a good thing Oldie but goody then , keeps things fresh as such with bogging down in private messages

Exactly kola..whenever I or they message again the conversation is still there.

If someone has read it and not replied take it as as no thanks and move on

Sometimes I read then get interrupted at home or work and forget to reply when I go back on.

But I wouldn’t message someone again if they didn’t reply unless it’s someone I chat to regular

If somebody doesn't respond even if we have been talking for a while I never reply I just take it they changed there mind
