Where did you find your fun.

One of mine was a phone service called chat and date.

You would leave a very short pre recorded message about yourself , and people would dial in and oisten to 100s of these recorded messages . You then press a number on your key pad to reply with a message that would be sent to that person, or you coukd move on to the next message.

What was your go to idea to find fun.

Keys in a bowl, pick up in a pub , lets hear those funny experiences.

Nights out in Glasgow lol I never struggled to pull, i was always getting attention but wasn’t interested tbh, I was on pof after long term and decided I wasn’t wanting to date at that time but wanted to explore less committed forms of fun and was recommended fab been on and off since

I remember the grand old days of the Scottish Swingers forum and chat room. Made some good friends on there. Very disappointed when it ended.

I used to have to leave the house and talk to actual people face to face thank god I don't have the embarrassment of getting told no to my face.

I also used to meet girls off bbs boards back in the Day but that wasn't really swinging mor been a horny teenager

Same id just pull on a night out, been on pof that was just a waste of time then found fab and been on and off for about 10 years, can be a struggle at times guys think its hard to get a meet its just as hard for us women lol

Only thing about fab is catch up can be a pain having to scroll through posts t see who wound who up first

Swingers magazine called Scottish Contacts, it was like a classified advert magazine. Couples and singles would have a profile with an identifying number, wee blurb about what they were looking for and sometimes a couple of grainy photos. You saw an advert you liked, write a letter and put it in an envelope with the advert number you were responding to along with a Stamp Addressed Envelope. Seems archaic now but it was the mid 1990’s and pre-internet days lol

In the age of pre-smartphones (ask your parents kids) I started down the naughty path on the T-mobile chat rooms. There was an over 18 room were the famous question was "ASL?"

It was actually a woman I met through there who put me into Fab as she knew I'd used the other popular sites at the time.

I remember in the 90’s using the dating services in the yellow newspaper Adtrader lol blinds dates were horrendous as you only had their verbal description of what they looked like so my god were there some shocks when we would meet face to face. No doubt some thought that about me too but it was scary stuff. Much prefer this, there are more genuine Fabbers on here than not and it’s nice hanging out with you it’s x
