Do people still go out dogging?? Always been interested by the thought of it and recently been to a few of the commonly known locations and seen nowt.

I’m sure it still takes place, maybe just more discreetly and with some prior organisation.

Seems the ‘hotspots’ are also well known to police, but I suppose that was always part of the risk

I thought the same ie. the Police were cracking down however, was out for a bike ride last week and stopped at an infamous dogging spot primarily for a drink of water.

Saw a young lady being spit roasted in one of the cars.

Decided not to hang around and left them to their pleasure.

So yes it would appear even the more popular areas are still in use

Can't beat a bit of alfresco nookie but I'd be more inclined to find a well hidden spot to indulge fun.

Could be Brad Pitt and Alexander Skarsgard offering to skewer me and I stil wouldn't be tempted. Thought of ending up on the register isn't worth it.

I've been a few times with female friends, its a see saw, darker nights easier but usually weathers crap, lighter nights weathers better but less folk out dogging and more folk out walking etc.

Only been to one dogging spot which was busy but too busy really with lots of people sitting in cars trying to keep warm. Freeze in winter or risk midges in summer - Scotland probably isn't the best for dogging.

I think it would surprise you. I don’t think they’d regularly patrol these places, but the fact that they’re well known would mean the likelihood of a patrol car passing by

Whether they bother to do anything about it is another question. Their presence is probably enough to make people cease and desist

Its a difficult situation, iv never been dogging but primarily due to charges and stuff you can get brought against you and names in the paper which iv seen aplenty so even the thought of getting caught puts me off!

Rather stick to clubs ect safety all round

Well I’ve managed to get caught having a quickie in the car home on several occasions in non digging sites and that’s enough of a deterrent for me lol tinted windows all the way now

Livingston/West Lothian still has a few active sites. Just depends on your luck I suppose.

Best to have a few guys/girls to let them know where you will be and find somewhere quiet
