We all have them .

Have you got the perfect neighbours or is yours the curtain twitcher type.

Are they super hot or reincarnated from hell itself.

Maybe as swingers we ourselves are the neibours from hell.

Im sure there must be some great tales to tell.

I dunno ive only seen mine a handful of times but they have curtains closed 24/7 and never have a window opened

the folk above me on the 18th floor just dont talk they shout at one another and when they party it feels as if theyre in my feckin house or the ceiling is comong in and no i dont want a invite to the party A wee call to the concierge service usually sorts it if not a visit from the housing officer does well for a wee while anyway

Similar here 20 years where i am roughly and know only a couple of names, MSD knows most of them .

Thats what its like these days more and more, people keep themselves to themselves.

I love my street it’s a combination of retired couples who have lived here 40+ years and us newer families who have been here between 7-20 years.

It has a feel of the old style neighborhoods where they sit and blether in the sunshine, and offer to lend a helping hand when needed (I even got a free lawnmower when mine broke!)

There is the odd bit of curtain twitching but it keeps the houses safer.

I was at the funeral of a neighbour a couple of years back and there was talk of parties in the 70/80s in and out peoples houses so I’m wondering if a bit of swinging has gone on!

Most of my neighbours are all new and hardly any of them talk to each other lol one of my neighbours don’t know if he realises it’s me or not but we were best friends as kids right up till we were about 20 and then drifted apart as we both discovered the opposite sex lol , another one I went through high school and my first pregnancy me and my ex were close to her and her bf but again we drifted apart, we talk a lot but she mixes with most of the ones where I stay that like a good smoke and drink most days and have never worked isn’t my idea of good company to keep lol, my direct neighbours brother lives in the house right across from us and they hate each other lol that’s awkward but for what looks like a lovely wee cul de sac from outside for most part no one knows each other lol my neighbour behind me though were really good friends. I’m the quiet one !!!

That’s horrific folk found here are very much like that no one ever sees anything or gets involved, don’t know how many times I’ve bwen at court as a witness cause I’ve ended up out on the street breaking up fights etc back at court again in July

I was like that aswell always the first out.

A neighbor was a victim of DV I was right out stopping it had to go to court aswell.

I live in a cul-de-sac. I know the names of most of my neighbours. My school music teacher lives a few doors down and my ex sister in law lives in the street. There’s been 4 sets of twins in the street!

It’s fairly quiet.

Old boy next door is a great neighbour , the lassie over the back is a fkn cow who at the first hint of sunshine she lights a pit fire and bbq , music blares ... my only hope is she falls in it when pished one night ......

Only neighbour I've spoken to is the guy across from my flat. I keep myself to myself. Don't know the others, only by sight. New guy moved into the flat underneath me two weeks ago and had a very noisy group of friends up. Put it down to just being a flat warming but it happened again last night. Called the noise control officers to come out and take a reading, they went to his door and spoke to him but after they went away the noise started up again. Called noise control again, came back and did another reading and then they called the police, who turned up very quickly. Fifteen minutes later everyone left the flat. Neighbours like that don't care but if they insist on making noise like that, I'll happily report them especially when you're trying to sleep. Nobody wants trouble like that living in the same block of flats as you so I don't see the point in conversing with them x

I used to have troubled neighbours and there was always something nutsy/heartbreaking going on.

In my new place it's all peaceful. I'm the noisy one, but it's the sound of me fucking as I always forget to shut my bedroom door and I'm damn loud

No complaints, just smiles when they see me.

There used to be an African evangelical church under me. Utter insanity. Exorcisms on troubled women at 3am and a PA system!!

Homophobic and all the rest. They called my gf and I, t_e devils.

Ironically if there had been soundproofing between us there could have been a legal case. They've gone now. Thank fuck.
