So ive met firefighters and cops for a meet and believe you me they were very boring i thought they were suppised to be fun how wrong was i .

It’s the job that sounds sexy, exciting and dangerous. The individual/s cannot guarantee the above.

For me, this is similar to looking gorgeous but having nothing to say or the person is a bore despite being very attractive.

Military men are miles better in every single way I find. So much so I've now an issue with civvies.

Cops are a bit of a taboo for me because of my politics but I've had a few for the perversity. They weren't boring at all. There are bores everywhere though.

Cop wise they have either been the salt of the earth types, middle class etc which was ideal, or the slightly dodgy kind "trust me, I'm a cop" ugh.

I love men in uniform or suited and booted In general, I suppose for a lot of the guys and gals in certain professions it might be hard to shut of and relax depending on how their week has been, had an ex fwb who was a fireman and all was good until a mutual friend was killed in a car crash and he was one of the team who attended, all the shift was pretty tore up after it but when he was off all he was doing was getting d*unk and phoning me up crying all time, after a few weeks I eventually had to say to him that he would need to speak to a counsellor or something because it wasn’t healthy and I had work and kids and sitting up all night on phone/cam to him till he fell asleep was making me ill, he turned quite nasty after that and we parted ways

I think that's a bit of a sweeping statement. People are far more than their stereotype.

Having spent 15 years and counting in uniform, I can confirm that there far more boring folk than you would expect, but, for the army at least, it’s pretty rare to get someone who occupies the middle ground, either they are boring as hell, or absolutely batshit crazy...... I’m not saying which one I am though
