People need to simmer down with being offended. Scared to say anything to anyone these days incase its not the right thing to say.

I do have a habit of putting my foot in it right enough

im useing your comment as an example, not making you as an example here.

Someone choosing to ignore or delete or even block you from messages is often due to repitition, tired of receiving samey messages, plenty other possible reasons but I just mean often it’s little or nothing to do with being offended.

People are not easier offended these days ...people are just not prepared to put up with racist homophobic sectarian bigoted shite under the guise of so called banter and the people dishing it out cant understand why ...its only a joke is their cry ...but it's always at the other person's expense.

I agree with some of your post but i would say more people are offended on other peoples behalf nowadays. What some people find offensive the recipient to the comment or banter as it can be called never batted an eyelid. But the do gooder on their shoulder whispers in the ear , thats offensive. The thread yesterday is proof in the pudding, to some the life without fuck thread , probably some found offensive and there was a lot of banter in there. Nobody taking part in the banter found it offensive. Have a look at some of Ben Shapiros videos and watch how he deals with offensive behaviours and people being offended.

I also think way too many folk are upright and really quick to condemn others, and from experience the women are defo a lot worse than the men, quite often getting a bee in their bonnet over nothing, and very quick to think worst of others, they really ought not to be on a site like this if they can’t be civil to folk in my

Opinion, no need to be rude to folk just ignore and move on

There was an interview with Nicholas Lyndhurst, Rodney from only fools and horses, on TV yesterday. He said that in all good comedy there is a victim... He said that show, (one of the best British comedies of all time in my opinion) wouldn't be made today.. I can't think of one comedy film or TV show where we aren't laughing at someone else.

Yes I saw it too and in no time of Fools n Horses where they racist bigoted sectarian or homophobic jokes used, their characters where all exaggerates of stereotypes. So in effect you can think of one programme it's Only Fools and Horses.

If you want to say something to offended someone well say it...dont get offended though if the person on the receiving ends calls you out though, and dont moan they are easy offended because you are not them.

Ps Lyndhyrst as Rodney is funny Lyndhurst as Lyndhurst is a middle class twat.

I agree with the middle class twat comment... The majority of comedoc characters are exaggerations of stereotypes.. Ricky Gervais in the office for example. , we all know people. Like that and we laugh at it and them..

I don't think people are more easily offended these days, having the internet gives people more ways to air their thoughts. It's just louder than before.

It's also less socially acceptable to be offensive now, you can't get away with stuff you could years ago and people will not be shy in letting you know

it's not double standards in anyway... I meant to call him that and if he is offended ...so feck I dont care.

Yes it is double standards from your self though bud if you read the context of your posts your berating them then doing it yourself , your saying things like to quote, bigoted shite, its only a joke is their cry, its always at the other persons expense and the most relevant you want to laugh at someone then laugh at yourself. Then a post later your being biggoted to someone who calling him a middle class twat. Ps im not offended by your comments, just pointing out an observation.
