E.K . Glasgow

A footballer from an era where it was the players that played for the team for 90 minutes and were professional gentlemen off the pitch . Many a function was attended by players of all clubs fun and banter flowed with no malice . They only showed fierceness on the field of play . So much today is money jealousy and disrespect for the others supporters and clubs . I'd rather have rivalry with friendly banter than the vitriol the small percentage of supporters seem to show nowadays . RIP To a great representative of his team , his club, and the game .

The SPL title was Celtics some time ago.

I had no doubt about that.

Just hugely disappointed with Leeds who are now consigned to play off lottery

Ironically I think Leeds would be better placed to stay up than both Norwich and Sheffield United. I'd welcome a sleeping giant back. It'd take time to get established and the first two seasons are the biggest hurdle but I'm growing tired of how many meaningless games and dungbag teams there actually are in premier league.

I agree. Its a sore one for us fans. 14 years is a long time. I think what makes it worse is that for most of the season they were 1st and 2nd.

Leeds have played some great football though I've also heard some players from the championship say Sheffield united were the best team they played against. I think Norwich will be straight back down. And you're right the play off is a lottery, how often does the team that just scrapes into 6th position make it up! Hardly seems fair but hopefully you get a big day out to Wembley and something to celebrate!

Trying to get tickets.

It's the hope that kills you.

But.. As my son keeps reminding me - it's only a game!
