I tend to get mug shots out the way quite quickly. Potentially save yourself from endless chat to find in the end you don't fancy each other x

I wonder if the OP was more meaning people whose profile says you have to send a face pic with your first message yet, as the OP says, they may not have any pics (let alone face ones) public. I see this quite a lot also, but the request doesn't really bother me.

As has been mentioned already, it's good to establish attraction fairly early on. So either something about their profile makes you go ahead and send that pic, or you pass them on by.

You should send 1 1st.

I like to get them out the way early on to see if there's enough attraction to carry on the conversation but I don't demand any.

Its obviously something women can do, some women are too busy to be sifting through 100s of messages its easier to just look at the person, decide yes or no and move on. Its a harsh reality but any guy that doesn't like it , then tough titty.

We decided no face pics until chatted a bit.

I know it's pretty counterproductive if you are then not attracted to them or vice versa, but I'm in a pretty public facing job and would be mortified if someone recognised me
