Do you ever Delete Unread?

Doesn't go down well, does it?

I did this a few times when guys weren't taking no for an answer and got a pile of abuse back! It seems to not read and delete someone's message is a cardinal sin on here!

We've had it a few times, Its normally from people who send the same copy and paste message once or twice a week

As you see the first line of message before you open it , if that’s crass or Abusive I delete without opening .

If you're deleting messages without reading, even the non abusive ones, the ones who take the time to word them too, then why not just block the user who sends them as well?

You've no intention of interacting with them, so isn't it best just to cut them off completely?

Well the non abusive messages I delete unread are also from guys with dick pics on their profile pics - I state in my profile that messages with dick pics are deleted Unread. I wouldn't block these guys unless they became abusive. However I am not an aggressive person and have never personally felt the need to be abusive.

When it's clear it's a one liner, or less and the profile picture (if there is one at all) doesn't appeal, yeah I'll toss them out straight away.

Not many come back with abuse though and if they do they're on the block list and don't think about them ever again x

The reason is men may use the copy and paste approach, is generally due to this. There’s really no point in wasting time with a long winded first message if - 1) it gets deleted and not read 2) it gets read and no response.

As a man, cast your net far and wide. (Though it shall still receive the same results lol)

I know its a Fab rule no reply is a polite no thx, load a rubbish imo. It takes seconds to type "sry not my type" . Job done if they reply back with any questions then delete and block, if they say no probs then delete. Its only manners.

I think it depends, I have very few message filters and I tend to post photos semi regularly and update my status often so I honestly get too many messages to even read never mind reply to. If I get a decent one that I'm not interested in then I do message back no thanks but I cant do that will all of them.

It’s rare I have abusive mail, very rare but it has happened. One recently I hadn’t even spoken too was a tirade on my profile. If I can see by the preview it’s crude (I’m all for sexy but not crudity) I’ll delete it unread as I think that gives the right message as to my thoughts about it. Lmao .. always XX if they won't put effort into a message they won't put effort into a meet. Deleting message or taking ages to respond after reading is the perfect way of ing out the Psychos xx. I delete hellos and anything from 100s of miles away, anything with Skype, "wish" or "pity" in the first line. I'm sure I've missed out on a few nice meets but dodged 100s of bullets.
